1. Who Can Make Requests:

• Only the Teacher of a Semi-Finalist Team in the GSTEP 2024/25 Challenge can request these materials.
• The Teacher must use their team ID or registration details to confirm their identity.

2. How to Submit Requests:

• Each team can make one request per project.
• You must give all the correct and complete information to avoid delays or issues.
• If someone gives wrong information, skips details, or isn’t allowed to make the request, the request will be cancelled immediately.

3. How Requests Are Approved:

• We will check each request to ensure it matches your project’s needs, is safe to use, and fits within our available resources.
• It may take up to 7 working days to approve your request.
• Approval doesn’t mean the item will be ready right away; some materials may take longer to get.
• Unsafe materials, like dangerous chemicals or restricted biological items, will not be approved.

4. Limits on Requests:

• Each team can spend up to GHC 300 on these materials.
• Requests over this amount will be denied or adjusted, and we will let you know about any changes.
• We cannot provide harmful items like very toxic substances, banned biological materials, or anything explosive.

5. How to Use the Materials:

• Approved materials must only be used for the project described in your request.
• You must submit a short report showing how you used the materials safely, including pictures or videos.
• Follow all safety rules that come with the materials.

6. Responsibility:

• The Teacher is in charge of safely using, storing, and taking care of the materials.
• If anything goes wrong—like losing the materials, damaging them, or using them improperly—you must inform GSTEP immediately.
• If the materials are misused or accidents happen because of negligence, you may lose the chance to request more materials or even face disqualification.

7. Safety and Liability:

• GSTEP is not responsible if someone gets hurt or damages property by using the materials in the wrong way.
• You must follow all the safety instructions provided with the materials.

8. Changes to These Rules:

• GSTEP can update these rules at any time.
• Any changes will be shared with all teams at least 7 days before they take effect.
